Texas Republican Rep. Troy Nehls on Sunday said the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Venezuela is sending "violent criminals" to the United States through the southern border.
"DHS confirms that Venezuela empties prisons and sends violent criminals to our southern border," Nehls tweeted. "President Trump warned us about this years ago.
Criminals from the Tocorón prison in Venezuela are headed for the US, with all expenses paid by the Venezuelan regime. More than 300 convicts in this group of hit men, assailants, drug dealers, were released to send them to the US from Venezuela
